The work of Sir Ivan Hebrew Trust is guided by deeply rooted principles shaped by the life experiences and convictions of its Founder, Amanda Shingai Mushonga.

Faith

Faith is the foundation of the Trust’s work. The Trust believes that spiritual guidance, moral grounding and community support are essential in nurturing resilient individuals and hopeful futures.

Compassion

The Trust is driven by compassion for vulnerable families, particularly widows, single mothers and orphaned children. Through practical support such as food donations, school assistance and mentorship, the Trust aims to restore dignity and provide meaningful help where it is most needed.

Hope

Hope is at the heart of the Trust’s mission. Many of the children and families supported by the Trust face difficult circumstances. By providing opportunities, encouragement and resources, the Trust seeks to help them believe in a brighter future.

Empowerment

True impact goes beyond charity. The Trust therefore focuses on Empowerment, equipping individuals with the skills, education and opportunities necessary to build sustainable livelihoods. Through technical training and mentorship programs, the Trust encourages selfreliance, confidence and long-term transformation.

Who We Are

A philanthropic foundation established by Entrepreneur and Agribusiness leader Amanda Shingai Mushonga, dedicated to supporting widows, single mothers, orphans and vulnerable children through food security, education support, skills development and biblical based mentorship.

Named in honour of her son, the Trust was founded from a deep personal conviction that no child or vulnerable family should face life alone.

The Trust focuses on supporting widows, single mothers, orphans and vulnerable children, particularly in rural and peri-urban communities in Zimbabwe. Through food support, education assistance, skills development and bible based mentorship, the Trust works to restore dignity, opportunity and hope.
